T.L. Herring & Co. has broken down deer, bear and wild hog for hunters across the eastern NC for as long as anyone can remember. We treat every animal that comes through our door the same way we'd want our own treated, clean cuts, no shortcuts, no mystery meat.
Every burger blend, every raw sausage, is made in small batches right here in Wilson. Your harvest stays your harvest from the moment it hits our table until the moment it's your hands. We never combine what's yours with another hunter's meat, so what you drop off is exactly what you take home.
Whether you're bringing in whitetail deer from a Wilson County stand, a black bear taken in the eastern NC mountains, or a wild hog trapped off a Carolina farm road, our team knows how to handle each animal differently. Deer get broken down into precise custom cuts and lean burger, bear is trimmed and processed with care for its thicker fat cap, and wild hog is cut and ground to bring out the best in that rich, dark meat. No matter what you bring through the door, it's processed by hand, on your schedule, by people who process wild game every single day.

Small batches of country style, kielbasa, bratwurst, Italian and chorizo, made fresh from deer, bear or wild hog and stuffed in natural casing or packed bulk to your liking.
Ground Burger
Lean, fine ground burger from your deer, bear or wild hog harvest, ground straight from the grinder and packed fresh for your freezer.
Custom Cuts
From cubed steak and stew meat to larger boned-in portions, we cut your deer, bear or wild hog harvest to your exact specs.
